50 g margarin eller bakfett
5 dl mjölk
50 g jäst
1½ tsk salt
2 msk sirap
750 g rågsikt(12 - 13 dl)
2 - 3 syrliga äpplen
Smält margarinet(bakfettet). Häll i mjölken och värm till 37o. Smula sönder jästen och rör ut den i lite av degspadet. Tillsätt resten av spadet, sirap, salt och det mesta av mjölet. Spara resten till utbakningen. Låt jäsa i 30 minuter. Dela degen i 2 delar och kavla ut en runt kaka cirka 45 centimeter i diameter. Lägg skalade och urkärnade äpplen i klyftor på halva kakan och vik sedan över den andra halvan, nagga brödet med gaffel. Låt jäsa. Grädda i 225o varm ugn, cirka 20 minuter.
