1 kg smågurkor
2 msk dillfrö eller krondill
20 svartvinbärsblad
1 liter vatten
1 1/4 dl grovt salt (motsvarar 3/4 - 1 dl fint bordssalt)
1 msk socker
Tvätta gurkorna väl och stick dem med en sticka eller gaffel. Lägg gurkorna varvvis med dillfrö eller krondill och vinbärsblad. Rör samman lagen tills dess salt och socker löst sig. Häll lagen över gurkorna tills de täckts helt. Lägg en tallrik eller tyngd över gurkorna så att de tryckas ned i lagen. Efter ett par dygn är gurkorna klara så att man kan börja smaka på dem.
