600 g strömmingsflundror
1 rejäl knippa dill eller dillkronor
4 hela tomater
salt och vitpeppar från kvarnen
2 dl tomatjuice
1/2 dl matolja
lite socker
1 tsk dillfrö
1 msk smör eller margarin
Så här gör du
Skiva tomaterna och täck botten av en eldfast form med dem. Grohacka dillen och lägg hälften på tomaterna. Salta och peppra strömmingsflundrorna och rulla ihop dem med skinnsidan inåt. Strö på lite socker, dillfrön och resten av dillen. Blanda tomatjuicen och oljan och häll det över strömmingen. Klicka på smöret och grädda i ugn i ca 200 grader C i 15 minuter.
Den kan serveras både varm och kall.
Kräftströmmingen är ett måste till kärftskivan men är också mycket god att äta som den är med knäckebröd, en kall öl och en ännu kallare kryddad snaps; förslagsvis kumminkryddad.
