Så här gör du
Rensa och filéa sillen och vattna ur den ca 1 dygn. Skär sillen i små tärningar. Smält smöret i en gryta och lägg i alla ingredienser. Fräs alltsammans i någon minut. Servera tillsammans med nykokt skalpotatis.
Varifrån namnet Godegårdssås kommer har jag tyvärr inte lyckats få reda på. Av ingredienser att döma var det fattigmansmat och den serverades kanske ofta i Godegård.
