2½ dl socker
½ dl sirap
1½ dl grädde/gräddfil/creme fraiche/keso eller dyl. Det går även med hett vatten.
75 g smält matfett, varav 50 g i kakan resten till formen och pensling
3 dl mjöl
2 tsk vaniljsocker
1½ tsk bakpulver
100 g kall, kokt grovriven Slakapotatis (höstpotatis)
2 - 3 syrliga svenska äpplen (gärna från Slaka)
fett att pensla äppleklyftor med
kanel att dofta över
ströbröd eller fiberhavregryn till formen
Lyxvariant: hackad mandel över kakan
Smörj och bröa formen ( ca 2 liter, med löstagbar kant). Blanda ihop mjöl, bakpulver och vaniljsocker. Vispa ägg, socker och sirap pösigt. Tillsätt fett och grädde samt den rivna potatisen och blanda väl. Rör ner de torra varorna. Häll i formen, skala och skiva äpplen i tunna klyftor och lägg tätt i vackert mönster ovanpå kakan. Pensla klyftorna med resten av fettet och strö över kanel. Strö ev. hackad mandel över. Grädda mitt i ugn i 175 - 180 grader ca 50 min.
