200 g torkade äpplen
2 - 2 1/2 dl skorpmjöl
50 g smör
Lägg de torkade äpplena i blöt och koka dem sedan mjuka. Mal äppelbitarna på köttkvarn (grov hålskiva) eller kör dem i matberedare. Blanda ned skorpmjöl till en lös smet och fyll blandningen i ugnssäker smörad form. Klicka över smöret och grädda i 175O ugnsvärme cirka 30 minuter. Låt kakan svalna och stjälp sedan upp den. Garnera med katrinplommon och vispgrädde i rutmönster. Även hackat ägg som garnityr förekommer bland annat i Horn.
